UNBC 4 Saskatchewan 0, UNBC 3 MacEwan 1
UNBC have been on fire this season, and its all thanks to the "Mailman", Michael Henman. This is Henman's 4th year at UNBC and honestly, if he signed up for the CPL U-Sports draft I'd be surprised if he was not picked. The Victoria Highlander has a staggering 14 goals in 8 games. That puts him on top of the golden boot standings with second place El Gandour with just 8. The Mailman is single-handedly brining UNBC to new heights. The shocking thing is that Henman has scored more goals in these eight games than his entire university career. Can he keep this form up and lead UNBC to a playoff push?

Calgary 1 Vikes 1, UNBC 1 Vikes 4
The Vikes have had a great weekend and have moved from sixth to fifth, a play-in spot. Victoria went into a three game slump at the start of September. Now they have a four-game unbeaten streak. Every single one of those games where played on the road. Up next; a five game homestand. Victoria may be able to do more than just push for a play-in spot if they keep this form up. Apart from potential success it should be noted that this squad only has nine goals this season. Four of which came from their game this weekend against UNBC. Their defense has been carrying them to success, but can it hold?
This issue is short due to the international break prohibiting Whitecaps play and Pacific FC’s game being postponed due to the Hurricane out east. Future articles without these two clubs will feature the VMSL, MWSL, and potentially FVSL.
