Vancouver Whitecaps FC
Western Conference: 11th

The Whitecaps have had another disappointing start to the season, and this game is a pretty good summary. It seems like no matter the advantages we have going into the season, we always start slow and then pick up in the end to gain optimism going into the next year. Minnesota were missing 8 of the regular players and still managed to put Vancouver in their place. But just when you thought that this will be a permanent mark on our record, and perhaps we would not be optimistic at all this season which would break the cycle, Simon Becher equalized the game. The bad part of this is now this game will be forgotten, and the endless cycle of hopefulness being destroyed season after season is set to continue. What do I think? Change needs to happen instead of fans accepting mediocrity followed by a glimpse of brilliance in the dying moments to keep us at the edge of our seat. I'd rather be disappointed in the end of a season/game because that will cause change.
Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2
Western Conference: 3rd
Pacific Division: 2nd

This has been a promising start for the boys in blue. There is a seriously good chance that this team really does something this year. Some of these players are reaching the point that this may be their last chance to break into the MLS. Levonte Johnson looked very promising, but he's 24. Giovanni Agulaiir is a great base in the midfield but he's 25. Most players in MLSNP are not in their 20's. WFC2 also have some youngsters that could really prove themselves this year. Kamron Habibullah has returned from loan with Pacific and scored a wonderful freekick. On the other hand, Coupland scored and could be a great player for the club. Both are just 19 years of age. Could either of them earn their spot in the first team this year?
